Digital Skills for Work, Home, and Life
Niagara West Adult Learning Centre is offering workshops in core skills that will help you choose, find, and keep a career that you will love and learn from! Life is full of changes and surprises - but these are skills that you can build, strengthen and take with you anywhere - because it is your life!

In this introductory session, we will cover:

  • Types of devices used in workplaces
  • Importance of technology in the workplace and at home.
  • Challenges to learning new digital skills - and overcoming these challenges!
  • Evaluating your personal needs, goals and interests.
  • Setting "SMART" goals for your own learning!
  • Ask yourself, "Where am I? and Where do I want to go from here?"
You can continue with specific courses on Microsoft Suite (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) or other programs.  We'll be happy to help you create a plan to achieve the goals you set, and continue on your learning journey!

We look forward to supporting you in building your skills!
