STEM challenges (hackathons) Bulgaria is a national initiative/competition that aims to develop knowledge, skills and competencies for STEM professions/jobs of the 21st century. It creates a synergy between industrial / business organizations and students, all of YOU, for which the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for a career in STEM professions/jobs are a factor for a real success.

Industrial and business organizations set/propose STEM challenges for solving. The participants will solve challenges in a form of an idea, prototype or a real working solution and will compete for the AWARDS announced by the organizations.

Each organisation is free to propose one or more STEM challenges. The challenge has to be related to STEM job/s in the organisation. The challenge is welcome to be formulated as close as possible from the real problem within the organisation activities. At least two STEM areas must be involved.

The organisation gives an award for each challenge. The award (product, service, funds, etc.) is decided by the organisation. The organisation covers the award delivery.

EVALUATION: Each organisation will evaluate the best solution one or more of the team/s.
DEADLINE: The deadline for proposing STEM challenges and awards is the 08th of October 2020.
