Welcome to the 2021 Term 2 and 3 Winter Hockey season. We are currently taking registration for school teams. The Hockey fees are  $40. Fees will need to be paid in advance before playing. Students will not be able to play until payment has been made or sorted through the school office.

Students will need to purchase their own Ashhurst School sports shirt through Academy Apparel prior to the season commencing. The cost of a sports shirt is $28.50. This can be used for all sports teams. Children are required to also wear navy blue sports shorts. These can be purchased at Kmart for approximately $5 a pair.

Games will be played on a Friday or Saturday. They are 7 aside games played on the HMI Twin Turfs and the Massey Turf.

The first round of competition begins Friday, May 14 or Saturday , May 15. Their final game will be on Friday, August 20 or Saturday, August 21.

School registrations will close Friday, April 9.

Hockey Manawatu requires all players to be registered via the Sporty platform. This must be done by parents or caregivers and not the school. Once teams are organised we will share the link for you to do this. Hockey Manawatu will not allow unregistered players to take the field.

NOTE: It is compulsory for all players to wear shin pads and mouth guards.
