Welcome to Yes! Applications for 2024!

Yes! Camp is both a Sex Positive and Mindfulness camp. If you are not comfortable with seeing other people both physically and emotionally naked this camp will probably not be the best fit for you.

We wish to create a space together that is all-inclusive; a safer space for especially those humans who feel marginalized by their race, body, gender, or sexuality to explore their authentic selves, and for this exploration to feel embodied and celebrated. We encourage each other to be curious and bold, to experiment outside of normative conventions. To be every shade in the rainbow and all those colors beyond it. 

Each applicant is evaluated on their own. We cannot guarantee that any groups of people or specific friends will be accepted together into camp, though we will try if all the group members apply at roughly the same time. Please help us to create harmony and balance so we can have a lovely group to grow with. 

We use Google apps (spreadsheets, docs, hangouts) for organization, if that helps you in deciding which of your many e-mail addresses to use :)

Each person in a group should apply individually and on the same day so we can consider the whole group together for balance purposes. Please list their names, and if you only wish to be considered as a complete group.  i.e. "I HAVE to camp with Bob", or "Mary is cool, but I'll still come on my own."
(Please note; we have limited space in Yes! The larger the group and the later in the year, the less likely you will all be accepted.)

At Yes! We try to create a safer space for people to explore and express who they are, this means we expect each person who enters the camp to do so with respect for other people’s expression and personal boundaries!

Our gift to the community is  predominantly our workshops. If there are any you'd like to lead or could contribute to, please let us know here.  There will be a whole planning/scheduling bit later, so this is just about ideas!

Participation Event! *
I understand that Nowhere is a participatory event and that my contribution of time and effort to this endeavor is essential to its success. In joining Yes! camp, I will either have a role within the camp (leadership, build, camp operations) or I will volunteer with the NORG folks for one of the shifts which makes the event possible. I am encouraged to do more than this minimum, as these roles are how connections are made and that’s the whole point.
Camp Contribution:  €250 (or less...) *
This is to confirm that you understand the Camp contribution will be €250 for 2024. This will be due 1 month after being accepted to the camp, or 2 weeks before the event whichever is sooner. Other communications from camp leadership regarding due dates may supersede this one.

Note #1: We're still determining our budget for '24, and it's possible we will lower the contribution to something between €200 and €250. This depends on many factors including the camp size and what fun stuff we decide to do (Help us figure that out!). The budget won't exceed €250 though in any case.   

Note #2: We generally don't spend more than 10% of the funds before June, and if some global no fun thing sucks the big it for 2024, we will refund whatever possible asap.  Having camp fees paid much earlier is mainly to ensure commitment towards building our family.

Note #3: Last one! We strive to be extremely transparent with our finances. Everyone in camp will be able to see where funds went, and is invited to participate in various organizational aspects where those decisions are being made.  If you have any questions, please let us know. (Peter specifically) 
New Members will be selected by committee.
We have modified our process a bit for '24.  Generally we are aiming to evaluate applications on a weekly basis.  From there, we may feel it necessary to scour the interwebs for juicy tidbits to fill in the missing chapters of your life story, or more likely we'll whisper sweet nothings to your references, turn our empathy detectors up to 11 and really FEEL what they're not telling us about you between the lines.  As such, you should receive a response from us within 10-14 (calendar) days of applying with either a response or some sort of follow-up questions if we need to.

That said, hippies will be hippies, and our committee of volunteers is about as dedicated to breaking all of the rules as they are to create the most wonderful family for the 2024 season.  

(If you haven't heard anything from us in 2 weeks, poke the gods, or find Peter and he'll invoke the flogger of shame on the process breakers.)
