WiCS Leadership Nomination Form 2021 - 2022
Every year, WiCS leads a plethora of events put together through the help of our Leadership Team. The time for our annual election season comes, and we're looking for people in our communities to nominate each other for positions of leadership!

If you know someone who has great organizational skills, leadership skills, communication, or would benefit from being a part of WiCS Leadership, please nominate them below.

Self-nominations welcome & encouraged!

Nominations are due by Saturday, May 1st.

Being a part of the WiCS Leadership Team is a year long commitment, requiring active involvement in leadership meetings as well as fulfilling responsibilities listed with the roles. Leadership members will also gain invaluable experience to describe in resumes and interviews, easily translatable professional skills to organizing communities and your workforce, as well as leading a change within our department and local industry!!

The training is ~90 minutes, and students must maintain a 2.5 GPA for undergrads or 3.0 for grads.

Social Events Coordinator
This person would be in charge of coordinating and promoting the following social events :

*WiCSGiving
*Game Nights
*Movie Nights
*Bubble Tea Dates
*Any other social events

Note: Events NOT covered in this role include: Career Workshop, Hackathon, Town Halls and Mentorship Program Events.
WiCS Officers
Anyone interested in getting involved with WiCS as a leader is welcome to join throughout the year under this title. This role is adaptable to this persons strengths and also provides opportunities to gain skills.

Some tasks that could be assigned to WiCS Officers are as follows:

*Maintain engagement level in slack channels
*Work as a support under the leadership roles listed above
*Work as a support for our large events (ie. take charge of the sign in table, help direct traffic and answer questions, etc)
*Help creating and spreading posters for events as well as speak in front of classes to promote WiCS
*Participate in the brainstorming / planning process for events and programs
*Plan an ice breaker activity for Town Halls
