Greenwood School District 50 is proud to offer a Fine Arts Magnet Program for middle school students.

All student applicants should be eligible to attend school in Greenwood School District 50. Acceptance into ACTS is based on the application, a live audition, and the availability of space. If the number of qualifying applicants exceeds space, a waiting list will be developed. Vacancies occurring after the selection process but prior to the beginning of the school year will be filled from the waiting list.

The following information must be completed and returned by January 25, 2021. Late applications will not be accepted.

Step 1 – Complete the application.

Step 2 - Two letters of recommendation 1). A Fine Arts Teacher from the student’s school in the areas the student plans to pursue 2). An Academic Teacher (or community member that is not a relative, for homeschooled students) who is able to comment on the student’s interest or giftedness in the arts should complete the Greenwood School District 50 Magnet Recommendation Forms by January 25, 2021.

Step 3 - The application process will include an audition. The auditions will be conducted on Saturday, February 20, 2021. These auditions will be conducted at Brewer Middle School. Applicants may audition in two areas of art.
