Hudson Falls virtual summer enrichment program is designed to allow students entering grades four through six non-credit Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math related experiences. The program is not meant to take the place of regular school curriculum, but rather encourage students to explore additional specialized areas that are of interest to your child. Courses are designed to engage and offer motivated students hands-on activities from home that are both challenging and experiential.
Virtual Class Placement and Size
Students will be assigned to classes on a first come, first serve basis. In order to provide an optimal learning environment, virtual class sizes will be limited to a maximum of 15 students. If a student’s first class choice is filled, all efforts will be made to place your child in the class of second choice. A waiting list will be generated for all courses that exceed enrollment of 15. If a class is cancelled, families will be notified by telephone. We will make every effort to find an alternate class.
Virtual Attendance and Behavior
Our students exhibit Tiger PRIDE throughout the school year. Our summer enrichment program expects students to show the same respectful behaviors when online. If a student’s behavior prevents others from benefiting from the course, we have the right to remove that student for that particular class and/or remainder of the session. In order to support the continuity of instruction, we ask families and students to commit to the full session dates and times. If your child is unable to attend a session, please email your course instructor in advance.
