Minority Legal Education Resources, Inc. (“MLER”) is a not-for-profit Illinois corporation dedicated to increasing diversity in the legal community.  MLER’s primary activity is the administration of its Bar Process Management Program.  The program is designed to support minority law school graduates preparing for the Illinois Bar Exam, however, all are welcome.  This program does not compete with commercial bar review courses and does not review substantive law.  The program is designed to provide structured study time with an emphasis on test-taking techniques and essay-writing skills.

The program consists of small group sessions, lectures, and mock exams.  MLER trains and certifies instructors to lead the small group sessions.  The weekly practice exams are graded by an instructor.  All instructors are attorneys in good standing, licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, who volunteer their time to the program.

Classes commence on Thursday, June 2, 2022, and will be held every Thursday for seven weeks. There will also be special sessions on two Sundays. (See Tentative Schedule on our website). Sessions will be held through Zoom online conference site OR In person at DePaul University College of Law. Information on how to log into our virtual classroom via Zoom will be given to each student who registered for the virtual program the week before classes begin. All practice exams will be distributed via google classroom, therefore, every student must obtain a GMAIL ACCOUNT to register for the program. YOUR SCHOOL'S GMAIL ACCOUNT IS NOT COMPATIBLE.

                                                            REGISTRATION PROCESS

Participation in the Summer 2022 Bar Process Management Program is limited to students preparing for the July 2022 Uniform Bar Exam. To enroll in the program, you must complete this application.  To pay the $325.00 Early Registration fee, the form must be completed by May 1, 2022.  To pay the $350.00 Standard Registration fee, students must complete the registration form by June 1, 2022 . Any application submitted after June 1, 2022  is considered on-site registration and the $400.00 registration fee will apply. If students are interested in paying electronically, they must click on the tab "Bar Process Management" and scroll to the "Pay Now" section on the website to submit payment through PayPal.
