Beth Am Youth Programming: High Holy Days 5783
At Beth Am, young people are always a central part of our community observances. While congregants of all ages are always welcome to participate in our main services, we also will be offering many opportunities for youths of all ages to participate, and other activities to allow them to best connect and grow!

In order to help us provide engaging programming for your children this High Holy Day season, we are asking you to register them for the appropriate program, and to include this form with your High Holy Days Ticket Form. Please let us know which programs and which days your children will be attending Beth Am below.

Youth Family Services (8:30AM-9:30AM on Rosh Hashana Day 1 & Yom Kippur)
Join Rav Daniel and Rav Tyler for an interactive High Holy Day service for children 0-6 and their families in Beth Am’s sanctuary. Before our main service begins, families will have the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with singing, storytelling, movement and more.

Childcare (9:30AM-1PM on Rosh Hashanah Days 1 & 2, and Yom Kippur)
Beth Am will provide professional childcare for the youngest ones, ages 2-5* in the Moadon. You will be welcome to drop off your youngest children for free play, a snack, and music and activities connected to Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Camp Tekiyah (10AM to the end of service on Rosh Hashanah Days 1 & 2, and Yom Kippur)
Camp Tekiyah is Beth Am’s High Holy Day experience for children in grades K-7. Led by a team of educators and volunteers, students will have the opportunity to explore the holidays through music, hands on activities, stories, and conversation. Children will be split into three groups based on age, and rotate through stations meant for them to most fully observe the holiday and build community within Beth Am! Camp Tekiyah will take place from 10AM until the end of services on both days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Teen Open Forum (4PM on Yom Kippur, Grades 7-12)
Following our long time tradition of an Ask the Rabbi anything Open Forum, Rav Tyler will lead an open forum for our teens on Yom Kippur afternoon for them to ask and answer their most interesting, challenging, and meaningful questions about our religion, the world, and themselves! The program will be followed by Yom Kippur Mincha where our teens will have the opportunity to participate by reading sections of the book of Jonah.

*We ask that all children who are left unattended be potty-trained.
