Abyssal Marks Early Opt-In

Abyssal Marks are an optional mechanic meant to appeal to fans of psychological horror and lovecraftian madness. They represent a sliver of alien thought and intent getting into a character, burrowing deep into their imprint. For opting in, you will receive a glow-in-the-dark resin pendant, which will represent the Mark in game, and be a unique souvenir!

Similar to DR:CO's Fixations, the Abyssal Marks are a Status Effect that may cause mechanics to work a little differently (horrifyingly) for your character. You'll also receive one or more roleplay prompts that you should attempt to complete over the game that will have some form of mechanical effect upon completion.
