Hi there!

Teens in AI are very happy to announce that we are preparing for our #IWD2024 Global Techathon which will be held in February - April 2024 to celebrate International Women's Day.  This will be our 7th global challenge and we cannot wait to make it life-changing for the teens involved.  

We would love to invite you to join us as a Local Ambassador and organise a techathon in your community.

Core commitments:

- Find a co-organiser to plan and run a techathon lasting 2.5 days with, which will be run virtually.

- Find volunteers (minimum another person) to help you run the event (excluding your co-organiser)

- Source 30-50 teens who will benefit from this programme - at least 60% of attendees must identify as female or non-binary

- Source a panel of experts who will judge the techathon

- Seek mentors to support the teens during the cohort

Teens in AI will provide necessary training and support you in planning your techathon to make it a success!

Techathon Weekends & Key Dates

Inspiration Week: 12 - 16 February 2024

Weekend 1: 08-10 March 2024
Weekend 2: 15-17th March 2024

International Demo Day: Friday, 25 April 2024
