Serving as a Principle or Understudy is not a short-term, one-time activity. It is a year-round commitment. If a member agrees to serve on the team, they should expect to serve for at least a year, and to be a ceremonialist at least two years. Those who cannot commit the necessary time to the team are encouraged to find other ways they can be of service to the team.

By filling out this form you are agreeing to at least 1 summer of being an active Ceremonialist or Understudy. the difference between the two are as follows:

Ceremonialists:

Have completely memorized an entire principle.
Is the Primary person doing their principle.
Help set up and tear down the ring.
ideally has done a season as an Understudy.
Has to dedicate more time than an Understudy
Must attend 70% of all ceremonies.

Understudies:

Are in the process of memorizing a principle.
Act as a back up when a Ceremonialist is unable to make it.
Help set up and tear down the ring.
Act as a Firetender or Drummer while a ceremony takes place.
Has to dedicate less time than a Ceremonialist
Must attend 40% of all ceremonies.

(Percentage will be calculated by dividing the time you are at the event by the total time of the event. Ordeals will be 10 hours and Brotherhoods will be 3)
