2022 AMAC Annual Airport Business Diversity Conference: Catalyst Awards Nominations
The AMAC Catalyst Awards honors individuals and corporations who have made outstanding positive contributions to furthering the goals of AMAC. All AMAC members are invited to nominate individuals or organizations in one or more of the categories listed below. Winners will be honored at the AMAC Airport Business Diversity Conference.

Nomination Period: March 21–April 18, 2022

Award Categories
Airport Design Innovation and Inclusion Award: This award honors an airport or corporation that has demonstrated creativity and originality in its project design; met or exceeded DBE and MWBE participation goals for the last three to four years in an architectural, engineering, or construction project; and is an active member who acknowledges the value and purpose of AMAC participates in AMAC’s programs, webinars, and events.  

Airport Concessions Innovation and Inclusion Award: This award honors an airport or corporation whose concessions program has shown commitment, creativity and/or originality in its efforts to achieve and exceed its ACDBE goal for the last three to four years and is an active member who acknowledges the value and purpose of AMAC participate in AMAC’s programs, webinars, and events.  

AMAC Advocate of the Year Award: This award recognizes an individual within the industry who has been a diversity inclusion advocate and active AMAC member.

Small Business Partner Award: This award honors a certified and/or designated small business that has demonstrated support of AMAC’s mission and goals and has made a significant impact on its community and workforce. The recipient should also be an active member.

Airport of the Year Award: This award honors an airport for significant contributions toward the realization of DBE, ACDBE or EEO goals within an airport (e.g., program implementation, new program initiatives to foster growth and development of DBEs or encourage employment, research, litigation, etc.) in support of diversity inclusion.

Hall of Fame Award: This award honors an individual(s) who has demonstrated sustainable and profound contributions to the aviation industry and positively impacted diversity inclusion within the industry. This individual(s) has provided continuous support of AMAC’s mission and goals and the growth and development of aviation diversity.  

Inclusive Leadership Award: This award honors a business or corporation that has demonstrated diversity inclusion within its corporate structure of procurement and employment. Nominees are aviation industry leaders for supplier diversity, best practices and fostering business capacity with diverse partners.

Local Small Business Champion: This award honors an individual within the region of the annual conference who exemplifies AMAC’s mission of diversity inclusion through their local or regional advocacy efforts on behalf of women and minorities. Nominees are viewed locally as champions for small business growth and inclusion.
