Region 11 STEM District Data Collection Form
According to labor projections, within the next decade, Texas is expected to have the second highest percentage of the nation's future STEM job opportunities. Our Texas Education Service Centers are working with other state and national organizations to create connected learning opportunities for students in- and out-of school.

To begin this endeavor, we need to collect some baseline data from our schools/districts for the 2019-2020 school year. We realized that your students may have been signed up for competitions, field trips, etc. that were cancelled due to our change in educational setting.  Please only include totals that include activities that the students actually participated in.  For example, if students prepped for a competition but did not go to the final competition, that would still count as an event.  However, if students were going to attend a Family STEM night in May but that was cancelled (and the students did not prep for the event), that would not count as an event.

This information will be reported to Michelle Sedberry, our TEA STEM Coordinator, so we can work together to support our districts and our teachers with resources, opportunities, and training that will help guide students into relevant and engaging pathways that prepare them for future careers. Please complete and submit this application by August 1, 2020.
