Longwood Elementary - Senior Send Off
The walk will take place starting at 2:50 on Friday, May 24th.  Please arrive with your Cap & Gown.  If possible, show off your future plans with a t-shirt under your gown:

  • 2:50 - Seniors meet on the Longwood Blacktop near Door #3.  Park on neighborhood streets and not in the circle drive.
  • 3:00 - Seniors *Only (*no parents or guardians will be allowed to enter the building) enter at Door #3.  Seniors will march a lap around the building, while students celebrate them, and will exit Door #2.
  • 3:15 - Seniors exit the building through Door #2 and return to the far end of the blacktop area.  *Note: Elementary students will be dismissed beginning at 3:30.  We kindly ask you do not interfere with the dismissal process.
  • At the conclusion of dismissal (3:50pm) Longwood staff will be invited to join Seniors on the blacktop until 4:15pm.

I understand that I will not enter the school building without being instructed to do so.  

I understand that if current students/staff are at recess when I arrive to the blacktop, I will wait on the circle drive until they are back in the building.  

I understand that I will be mindful and respectful of current Longwood students and families during dismissal.

I understand that I will walk to the school, park on the side streets, or get dropped off at Longwood.  I will not park in the front circle drive or disrupt the car line.
