One of the best midfielders in the world at a point with beautiful skills and assists, but criticized for his fitness and lack of urgency in later years, hardly played for the club during his final years and didn't seem up for it when he did, also stirred several controversies by showing support for Erdogan and Uighur Muslims which lead to issues with the club (he claims this + his refusal to take a pay cut is why he was pushed out from the squad). Claims he still loves Arsenal deeply and wants to return some day.
