Yorkshire + Humber FFICM SOE/OSCE Course FACULTY APPLICATION
Thank you so much for offering to be Faculty on the Yorkshire and the Humber Viva/OSCE prep course. This course aims to give opportunities for FFICM candidates to practice the components of the exam in similar conditions to the actual exam

Our aim is to accommodate all ICM trainees in the region who are preparing for the exams. The course will run in the weeks preceding the SOE exam itself and are timed to avoid National courses. Currently the FIVA course will be in the mornings only, between 08:30-12:30.

We are anticipating very high demand and will need multiple faculty for each day. Therefore, if you offer to be Faculty and are given a place PLEASE try and stick to this commitment, and let us know early if your situation changes and you cannot attend.

The FIVA organisers understand how precious everyone's time is and would like to express their thanks for your offer to help with the running of this course. Like all such initiatives, this relies on the good will of the faculty and we are very grateful. There are some additional details below relating to the running of the course and the expected standards which you may find useful to read over.

Your email address (and mobile phone number if given) will be used to co-ordinate your involvement in the course. The Fiva course involves contribution and organisation by other trainees who will have access to this information.

As the course is very Faculty heavy we would be grateful if you could:
- Assume that if your offer to help on a date is agreed, that this is confirmation you will be needed
- Ensure you have alerted your department if required, so you will not be allocated other duties
- Please confirm your attendance in good time and answer all FIVA communications as soon as possible
- Please inform the organisers if you have to cancel, as soon as possible
- Please complete all feedback
- Please ensure you join sessions adequately prepared with a device capable of delivering a reliable SOE experience (e.g. PC or laptop with Microphone, speakers and webcam, IPad or Tablet) and have access to the host platform (provisionally ZOOM)
