Who:  Teacher Leaders interested in coaching and mentoring educators in various stages of the Career Continuum (Aspiring Teacher through Professional Educator)

6.  Lyndon Town School - (Day 2 & 3 only) Location TBD - August 15-16 (Participant may select a Day 1 at another location)
7.  Hartford School District - Hartford High School - August 12-14

Pre-Work:  Adult Learning Theory Micro-Credential – Prior to your first class, register for the micro-credential Andragogy: Adult Learning Theory at nea.certificationbank.com.  The micro-credential is in the “Cooperating Teacher” Stack. Complete Part 1 “Overview Question” and Part 2, #1 “Rewrite the scenario.”  We will be sharing our responses to these two questions during our first class.

Day 1- Understanding the Framework for Evaluation- Participants will focus on understanding Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching and the new Six Clusters for High Level Learning.   We will also be exploring the Educator Competencies for Personalized, Learner-Centered Teaching and discussing Adult Learning Theory (micro-credential questions), Stages of a Teacher's First Year

Mentoring for Equity
Generational Differences

Fall Assignments (online for those who are taking the course for credit):

• Videotape and Analysis of your own teaching
• Observation notes and analysis of an educator’s practice (new educator, aspiring educator, or peer)
• Videotape and reflection of a coaching conversation following the observation
• Participate in webinar on October 16, 2019 @ 7:00 pm via Adobe Connect (Link will be sent out a week prior)

Cost:  $600 per person (includes materials) without credit
    $975 per person (includes materials) with 3 credits from Castleton
Lunch:  One hour for lunch, please bring your own (unless provided by host school)
