Most Active Pack Award:
This award is based on the Journey To Excellence program.

Categories for Pack Activities and development and is selected by the Territory Executive. To qualify for this award you unit must have completed and recorded all entries; Camping, Service, Hours and growth within Scoutbook. The DE will review Internet Advancement 2.0 (Scoutnet) records of completion.

Shooting Star Award:
The Shooting Star Award is an Award in which only one of the the Unit Key three can fill out. Only three (3) per unit will be accepted. The Territory Key 3 may also nominate scouters for support completed at or during a territory level event.

Outstanding Cubmaster / Scoutmaster / Adviser LEADER / Skipper Award:
This award is for a Scoutmaster, Cub Master, Skipper or an Adviser. If you want to recognize your unit leader as being a person that does a lot for the community, the unit and the youth in your area. Must be a Scoutmaster or Cubmaster, Venture Advisor or Skipper. In most cases, must have served at least 3 years as a Unit Leader, and received the Unit Leader Award of Merit. This award is often used to document the path up to the Silver Beaver award.

Outstanding Cub / Scout / Venturing / Sea Scout Adult Scouter Award:
This award is for all other Adult Scouters like Committee Chairs/Members, Assistant Unit Leaders, Commissioners, etc. If you want to recognize your unit leader as being a person that does much for his community, the unit and the youth in your area. Two or 3 awards are available each year for each program (Scouts, Cubs, Venturing, Sea Scouts.) Must be a registered Scouter in a unit or with the Territory. Also must be trained in position for which that member is being recognized and have served at least 3 years.

Unit Leader Award of Merit:
Boy Scouts of America created the Unit Leader Award of Merit to recognize the quality unit leaders who make this happen. Quality unit leadership is the key to a quality unit program—and it leads to better Scout retention. Statistics show that if young people stay engaged in the program for at least five years, the BSA’s influence likely will stay with them for the rest of their lives. District Award of Merit:
The District Award of Merit is the highest recognition given by our Territory for excellence in service to youth. The Council equivalent is the Silver Beaver. A Territory Nominating Committee composed of veteran Scouters selects the recipients. Must be a registered Scouter within the territory. In most cases, has been involved in Scouting at least 5 years and provided some type of distinguished service at the territory level or above during that time.

UNIT SCOUTER:
Must be a current trained registered Scouter in a unit level position, Member at Large or Merit Badge Counselor.

Committee Member of the Year:
Actively trained, registered member of either the Unit Committee or Territory Committee

Little Scouter:
This award began in the Chief Kitsap District in 1982. It recognizes a registered youth scouter who renders outstanding service to Units and the Territory.

GOLDEN/SPARKPLUG AWARD:
A metaphorical meaning to a registered scouter in the Territory who tends to be able to jumpstart just about anything and can provide the “spark” needed to get things going.

EXTRA MILER:
This is given to the person who has done a great job in the Unit or territory. (need not be a registered scouter)

EXTRA NAUTICAL MILER AWARD:
This is given to the person show has done a great job in the Unit or territory above and beyond the Extra Mile. (need not be a registered scouter)

Good Turn Award:
Since 1980 this award has been an opportunity for the Territory Scout Executive to recognize a person who has gone above and beyond in supporting Scouting in our territory. It is a rotating award. Each year the recipients name is added to the large plaque.

George Ledger Award:
George Ledger (February 5, 1910-December 24, 1996) is the Scouter for whom this award is named. Started in 1995, it is given to a Scouter who exemplifies what George stood for in his life of leadership. This stalwart, along with his late wife Frances, served with energy and love, Troop 151, our District and Council for more than 50 years. He was a Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Chair, held numerous District and Council positions as well as participated in both National and World Jamborees. His passion was Training and he served as Round Table leader and was a advocate for Woodbadge. A generous financial supporter, he provided funds for two flag poles and the climbing tower at Camp Parsons in memory of his wife and son. At Parsons, he was often a visiting commissioner. He received the Silver Beaver and George Meany award. He loved Scouts and continued his interest, support, friendship always ready with a Scout story and homemade cookies well into his 80's. Must be a registered Scouter affiliated with the district. In most cases, has been involved in Scouting over 15 years in leadership positions

Bob & Margaret Story Family Award:
This award, started in 1994 given in memory of this couple to a family which has demonstrated their dedication to the Scouting program, their community and family. At age 96, on December 26, 1993, Mr. Story quietly passed away and one week later, his beloved wife, Margaret died. Both were involved in the restoration of Japan after WWII, Bob as director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and Margaret as a teacher in the American School. Both were active in the Tokyo Union Church. They started Pack and Troop 6 in the Far East Council. Returning to Seattle in 1973 and Bob was the International Scouting representative on the Council Executive Board and Margaret a Cub RT leader. Both earned Woodbadge beads and received Silver Beavers. Family members recognized must be registered Scouters. In most cases, the family members being recognized have been in Scouting over 10 years

Commissioner Appreciation:
Awarded to a trained Commissioner who has done a great job in support the Unit and territory.

Service to Youth:
Award for Special Service during current or previous year awarded for support that directly results in the benefit of the youth in the Scouting program.

Special Service:
Award for current or past service, need not be currently trained nor a currently active, nor registered member whose support to the Scouting community is being recognized.

Distinguished Service:
Award for several years of service, usually upon departure whose support to the Scouting community is being recognized
