Questionnaire Survey for SME owners in Asia on "Job Satisfaction"
- ICOSA is researching "Job Satisfaction" of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Asia.
- “Job satisfaction” can be divided into “economic rewards” such as salaries and benefits, and “non-economic rewards” such as a sense of accomplishment, discretion through work and good human relations.
- In the case of SMEs, “economic rewards” may be less, but “non-economic rewards” is superior, and it was confirmed by our survey in Japan that SMEs that focus on non-economic rewards tend to find more employees motivated to work, as a result, corporate performance is also good.
- How do business owners of SMEs in Asia think about this kind of job satisfaction? Is it the same as in Japan? What kind of management can ensure that employees feel their workplaces rewarding to work for?
- If any commonalities and differences were found in Asian countries, we wish to clarify the reasons through this questionnaire survey for SME owners in Asia.
