2021 Verna J. Kirkness Education Foundation Scholarship Application

Eligibility

  • Student self-identifies as First Nations (status or non-status), Métis, or Inuit.
  • Student was accepted into the VJKF 2020 program.
  • Student completed the VJKF Virtual Program in 2021.
  • Student is now enrolled in a post secondary program at university or college.
  • Students must complete the scholarship application to be eligible.

Terms of Reference

  1. This scholarship is available to ALL students who completed the 2021 VJKF Program.
  2. Each scholarship has a value of $1,000.
  3. The basis of the award will be active participation in the 2021 VJKF program.
  4. Payment will be made when the awardee has begun attendance at a publicly funded university or college. (Approved post-secondary list: https://www.collegesinstitutes.ca/our-members/member-directory/ A copy of student's university schedule will be required to prove enrollment.)
