Wayne-Westland Foundation for the Improvement of Instruction

A major goal of the Wayne-Westland Foundation for the Improvement of Instruction is to maximize assets to increase grants and scholarships for students and staff of the Wayne-Westland Community Schools. Donations come from contributors and selected sponsors who are also dedicated to Wayne-Westland Community Schools.

Term of Office:
a) Two (3) year terms.
b) One year off before serving additional terms.
c) No one person shall serve more than six consecutive years.
d) Voluntary

Meetings: Must be available to attend annual, regular, special, and teleconference meetings.
a) Annual meeting in August.
b) Regular meetings each month during the regular school year (from September through June)
c) Special meetings when called by the Chairperson(s) or three (3) or more Directors of the Board.

Attendance:
A Board member with absences for three of the previous four meetings shall no longer be considered as a member in good standing and shall be subject to removal as a Board member by an affirmative vote of a majority of the remaining Board members in good standing.
