On Make Music Day (June 21), Smiling Hogshead Ranch will be hosting several musical events, including Flowerpot Music.
Flowerpot Music, written by celebrated composer Elliot Cole and directed by percussionist Peter Ferry, is a composition for an unlikely but beautiful percussion instrument – the flowerpot!
None of us are musicians but we all have flowerpots so we are excited to welcome members and friends to participate and join us for this special performance (in fact, we will have two different performances at 4.30 and 8)
We will provide the mallets and instructions. If you can, please bring a flowerpot. Ceramic, glass or metal bowls also work great. Plastic doesn't.
