SPASH Dance Team 23-24 Tryout Registration
Hello all prospective returning and new members of SPASHDT!  We are so excited to see you all at tryouts.  Please fill out the following questions so that we can get to know you a little more.

This form will be due by Sunday April 9th at Midnight.

IMPORTANT TRYOUT DATES:
  • Optional pre-tryout practices: 3/28, 3/30, 4/4, & 4/6 4-5:30pm in the SPASH South Commons 
  • April 5th: Mandatory parent & dancer meeting at 6:30pm in the SPASH Library
  • April 10th-12th: Mandatory tryout practice clinics from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the SPASH South Commons
  • April 13th: Time to review 3:30-4:30pm in BEN FRANKLIN cafeteria, followed by official tryouts 4:30pm-??? in BEN FRANKLIN auditorium
IMPORTANT DUE DATES:
  • Tryout liability form due upon first day of participation.  You can find it here: https://www.spashdance.com/tryout-information
  • Online registration form due April 9th at midnight
  • Tryout deposit of $30 due April 10th end of practice (Make checks payable to: SPASH Dance Team) **This will NOT be cashed unless you make the team!**
  • Parent & Dancer signed team contract acknowlegement due April 10th end of practice (You will receive this at the parent/dancer meeting)
  • Teacher evaluations due April 13th end of practice (You will receive teacher evaluations at the parent meeting)

What grades can tryout?

Current 8th-11th graders!

What skills are required?

We do not require any skills!  Coaches and tryout judges will be looking for potential!!  That being said, you will be judged on certain skills you will learn at tryouts, but you don't have to have them perfected.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing that you can be active in.  Ex: Leggings, athletic shorts, t-shirt, athletic tank top, etc.  Please no sweatpants/jeans/baggy clothes.  Jazz shoes if you have them, otherwise tennis shoes are okay.  Please wear all black to your final tryout.
