To dovetail Base BSTN’s study of My Jewish Year, let’s dive into the “Most Important Jewish Holiday” - Shabbat. We will explore some of the foundational texts that can help us paint a colorful picture of what Shabbat is at its roots.

We will meet on the following Mondays @ 7:30-8:45pmET, unless otherwise noted:

October 18th: Starting at the Beginning
October 25th: Shabbat as Economic Regulation
November 1st: Fish and Wine - The Secrets of Oneg Shabbes
November 8th: Shabbat as Pleasure Activism

*We plan to hold all sessions virtually, unless the group decides otherwise. This is a discussion-based class, facilitated by Base BSTN online (via Zoom), where video & audio participation are encouraged - you will be invited to share your thoughts and speak from personal experience, with no obligation to do so.
