South County Middle School Employee Award: 2021 Outstanding New Principal Nomination
To be eligible for nomination a new principal must:
- Be within the first 3 years of their assignment as principal in FCPS (assistant, associate, or subschool principals are not eligible for this award- consider nominating them for Outstanding School-Based Leader)
- Be aware of and in agreement with this nomination.


Nominees should be new principals who:  
A. Gather, analyze, and use data for student achievement.
B. Communicate a clear vision for school improvement and stakeholder engagement.
C. Maintain effective discipline and foster a safe environment for students and staff.
D. Exhibit effective communication skills when working with staff and community members.
E. Model professionalism and promote the professional growth of others.
F. Contribute to one or more of the following Ignite Goals, in the FCPS Strategic Plan:
       •Student Success
       •Caring Culture
       •Premier Workforce
       •Resource Stewardship
