Summer Series Options *
Please select from any or all of the online learning experience options being offered during the 2020 Youth Ministry Formation Summer Series. Each online learning experience will meet for a live online discussion that week. Those in the morning sessions will discuss for 60 min on Wednesdays at 10am and those in evening sessions will discuss for 60 min on Thursdays at 7pm).

Are you interested in the advanced track for credit towards certification?
If you are interested in earning certificates in youth ministry from the Diocese of Columbus and/or National Certification in youth ministry, the advanced track will assist you in that process. The advanced track require some additional requirements, including additional readings and a short application paper. If you do not complete the advanced track at this time, you can always come back to meet the additional requirements to earn full credit. You can select advanced track for any or all online learning experience options, they are combined into two week learning experiences for the advanced track.

Required Texts
The Youth Ministry Formation Summer Series has three required text books: Renewing the Vision by the USCCB, National Directory for Catechesis by the USCCB, and Leadership for Catholic Youth Ministry by Tom East. If you need a copy of either of the USCCB texts, the OYYAM will provide them to you for free. The Tom East book can be purchased online at Amazon, Twenty Third Publications, or the Center for Ministry Development. If the parish/school is not able to cover the expense of this text, you can select the option for a subsidized book through the OYYAM.
