RSVP: WMS Burrell Workshop - Grief & Loss
We are excited to partner with Burrell to offer monthly workshops at WMS around topics that commonly impact adolescents and their families. Our hope is to provide information, resources, and practical tips for the adults in our students' lives. This will be open to parents and staff members.
Please RSVP for our Grief & Loss workshop on Dec. 13th, from 6:00-7:00 p.m., in the WMS library.
While grief may be an inevitable part of life, it can be devastating for those experiencing loss and overwhelming for those in support roles. Whether grieving a death, change in routine or stability, parental divorce, or any number of other difficulties, the process of grieving is not linear, and everyone grieves differently. This training reviews common reactions to grief, developmentally appropriate responses, and strategies for supporting youth through grief and loss.
