The Veteran's Memorial Recreation Area is a volunteer run ski area operated by the Franklin Outing Club.

Volunteers that we will need during the 2022-2023 Ski Season:

Lift Attendants
Ski Patrol*
Kitchen & Lodge Help

We generally hope to be open sometime in December, depending on the weather and snow conditions and stay open until mid-March

We appreciate the hard work that is put in from all of our volunteers. In exchange for volunteering you will receive a free cheeseburger or hot dog, chips and soda the day of your volunteer work. If time allows, you can also ski for free that day. If you have children, your children can also ski for free that day.

*18+ preferred with some kind of medical training or license (OEC, EMT, Medic, RN, PA, etc), we also have youth patrol for anyone 15-18 who would like to learn and work toward a certification
