A Virtual Capacity Building Program in Cultural Entrepreneurship
Yes Theatre is implementing a new program in partnership with Al Asfari Foundation. The program is called “The Creative Lab and Incubator” and is designed to take place over three years. To achieve the specific objective and consequently, to contribute to achieving the overall goal, four results are proposed which illustrate engagement at various levels with the direct target groups, and the resulting benefits accruing long term for the indirect target groups. These results are:

1. Establish the “Yes Theatre Cultural Entrepreneurship Lab” as a role model in the cultural sector and a specialized agency to teach entrepreneurial skills to the youth, inorder to motivate them to become self-employed and to initiate artistic and creative projects.
2 Develop the work of young Palestinian artists by building their capacities in cultural entrepreneurship and support them to establish their social startups.
3. 20 practitioners are invited to participate in the second cultural hackathon.
4. YT strategic plan is further developed and connected with the main elements of cultural entrepreneurship.
5. Build the capacities of YT staff in business planning in terms of cultural entrepreneurship.
6. A human capital development plan for YT staff is developed with a particular focus on cultural entrepreneurship.
7. Develop the capacity of YT graduates and staff in artistic and cultural entrepreneurship fields.
8. Develop the capabilities of YT staff and graduates in designing and implementing cultural hackathons.
Yes Theatre is inviting the Palestinian young artists who are specialized in performing arts to apply for a virtual capacity building program in Cultural Entrepreneurship.

DURATION & LOCATION
2-month full-time program including 2-week coaching sessions. Yes Theatre for Communication among Youth.

PROFILE
The candidates are Young Palestinian artists who are between 25-30 years old.
The candidates are working in one of the performing arts fields (theatre, dance, circus and music)
The candidates are managing their businesses or they are planning to establish their enterprises.
