Thanks for considering to submit ideas to our grant idea collection!

The goal of this form is to have a quick method -- 5-30min depending on detail and effort -- to submit ideas for things we should consider funding in a structured way that provides information we find important when forming quick initial views on which opportunities to examine more deeply. This is not a request for a grant proposal and should take significantly less time and effort, this is a request for promising ideas.

We appreciate that not every field might make sense for your idea or that some fields might be hard to fill out -- do not worry about this, you can skip any field! You have the chance to add any additional considerations in the end in a text box. We will also go through submissions and fill out missing fields.

You do not need to be a potential grantee and/or have an existing organization in place to submit ideas, we are also keen to elicit ideas that are more "blue sky" and from impact-minded individuals that might not have the resources or position to pursue the idea themselves.

Confidentiality & how we will use this
The primary purpose of this collection is to collect ideas to inform what we should consider for more in-depth grantmaking research and grantmaking and we will treat this survey confidentially.

There are, however, two exceptions to this we would like to ask your consent about. Note that your response does not affect our evaluation in any way.

1. Exception 1: We would like to be able to share responses with allied funders.

2. Exception 2: We would like to be able to represent the opportunity in a stylized fashion in our published research to give a range of the opportunities considered.

This would mean mentioning the name of the organization, the type of the intervention, and the geography, for example "Example org, policy advocacy to improve rainforest protection in Indonesia"
