To park in the student parking lot, students must have a valid parking permit.

Parent/Guardian or Student (18 and older) is responsible for maintaining vehicle registration, insurance and a valid driver’s license. St. Vrain Valley Schools has the right to require proof of these at any time.

Electronic submission of this form by Parent/Guardian or Student (18 and older) is considered the Parent/Guardian or Student (18 and older) signature.

In order to obtain a parking permit each school year:
1.Parent/Guardian or Student (18 and older) must fill out the online registration for a parking permit.
2.Student driver pays the $5 fee to the main office
3.School staff will issue the parking permit once these steps are complete. PERMITS MUST BE DISPLAYED IN THE VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES.
4. Student drivers attending CETC, New Meridian High School or St Vrain Virtual High School must display their school parking permit while parked at those locations.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK SECTION: Schools allow student drivers to park on the premises with a permit. Possession of a permit does not guarantee a place to park. There are risks involved in parking your vehicle on school premises. These risks could involve theft from/ of vehicle, damage by other vehicles, vandalism, and damage by adverse weather conditions. This list is not intended to be all inclusive. St. Vrain Valley Schools is not responsible for stolen property or lost valuables. This does not include damage caused by St. Vrain Valley Schools vehicles. Student drivers are permitted to park in designated student parking areas only. *

WAIVER/INDEMNIFICATION SECTION: 1) I hereby waive the right of recovery from, or to bring suit against, the St. Vrain Valley Schools, its employees or agents, for any damages to or theft from/of the vehicle, or any other consequences of driving in or parking on school premises. 2) I hereby release and agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the St. Vrain Valley Schools, its employees or agents, from all theft, loss, costs, damages, injury, claims, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to your negligent and/or intentional acts with the respect to the presence or operation of your vehicle on premises. *

DISCIPLINARY ACTION SECTION: Parking privileges may be revoked if the student driver does not abide by all St. Vrain Valley Schools Policies, school rules, and/or local law and traffic ordinances. In addition, detention, suspension, or towing (at vehicle owner’s expense) may occur. Per Board of Education policies JIH, JIH-R, and JIHB, if a situation arises, administration and/or local law enforcement have the right to search the vehicle.I/We have read the terms and conditions of parking on the school campus. I/We understand that parking on campus is a privilege, not a right, and there are risks involved in parking on campus. *
