Open Call: Museum Workers Create
Museum workers engage with art, history, science, and culture on display in their respective institutions, yet very often do not have the opportunity to display their own work. King Manor Museum wishes to showcase the resilience and creativity of museum workers present and past by giving museum workers -- educators, curators, teaching artists, administrators, security, maintenance, etc. -- a platform to explore the state of the field.

King Manor hopes that, collectively, these creative works will represent the many transitions that we have experienced throughout our careers, from getting a foot in the door to landing that dream job -- or realizing the dream job wasn’t for them after all!

Example of visual art mediums to be accepted:
Painting
Photography
Drawing
Prints
Fiber arts
Collage
Mixed media with poetry

Currently no audio or video submissions can be accepted at this time.

Deadline for submission: April 20, 2022.

For queries, please contact Curatorial Assistant Hannah Winiker at hannah@kingmanor.org.
