Community Service Lessons Mentorship
Our Hart MS/Stoney Creek HS Community Service Lessons program has been a staple of our SCHS Bands program for many years. If you are interested in becoming a HS mentor, you'll have the opportunity to teach short private lessons to another Hart MS student who plays the same instrument as you do. Your service hours can be used for National Honor Society, Key Club, or any number of other organizations looking to honor community service hours. However, you do not need to be a member of any of those organizations to sign up! All SCHS Bands students are encouraged to sign up if you would like to be paired with a Hart MS student to help them (and improve yourself!) on your instrument. Ninth Grade students will only be paired with 6th grade students; 10th-12th graders may be paired with any MS student.

If you are interested in being added to this year's HS Mentor list, please complete this form. Your answers and contact information will be shared with any interested Hart MS students looking for a mentor.

Please note: Adding your name and expressing your interest doesn't necessarily mean you will be contacted by a MS student to teach. But, it does mean you are willing to teach at least one student for 30 min/week, based on your and their schedule availability, should you be contacted.
