Over the past year, we have seen countless examples of individuals/groups that have risen far above the call of duty and helped Huntington County succeed as a community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. We here at the United Way want to honor those who gave their time, knowledge, and energy to this community.

We have two separate awards to recognize these efforts.

The "Community Hero" award will go to 10 community members that came to the community's rescue in one way or another over the last year. These Heroes will receive an award as well as be featured on our social media and blog.

The "Workplace Star" award will go to 1 person from each business or organization that went above and beyond to cover shifts, encourage self-care, etc... These Stars will receive an award as well as be featured on our social media and blog.

We want to recognize these individuals for all of the hard work they have done over the last year.

These nominations will go to the United Way of Huntington County Board for selection. Winners will be contacted for pictures and interviews for our social media by mid-April, with public recognition shortly after.
