US Conference of Mayors Volunteer Form

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the US Conference of Mayors. We have an incredible opportunity to welcome mayors from across the country to our Biggest Little City.

The United States Conference of Mayors is the official non-partisan organization of cities with a population of 30,000 or larger. Each city is represented by its chief elected official, the mayor. The 90th Annual Meeting of The United States Conference of Mayors will take place June 3 through June 6 in Reno, Nevada. It will be presided over by Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and is hosted by Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve.

There are volunteer needs from June 1 through June 6. This form will help us identify volunteers and their availability for conference sessions and activities. While we cannot guarantee your placement, we will do our best to accommodate preferences. Most shifts are 4 hours in length and take place at either the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, or the Peppermill Resort Hotel.

Interested volunteers should complete the form no later than May 20th, and scheduling preferences will be given to individuals/groups who register early.

Requirements: Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves professionally, including being reliable, punctual, and self-directed. Additionally, as this is a non-partisan event, volunteers should not display campaign signs, buttons, insignia, slogans, symbols, or other expressions, or express exuberance for or against candidates or issue statements. Volunteers will be provided a t-shirt that should be worn during shifts so they are easily identifiable by event attendees.
