Dear HSEnd Hawks,

After-school clubs are here for the Spring Semester! Students may sign up for one club per day based on their grade level. Clubs are not offered on Fridays. Clubs will be held after school until 5:00 pm Advisors will inform students about materials if needed any. Please select the club of your choice for the Spring Semester. Club enrollment spots are filled on a "first-come, first-serve" basis.

Each sport has different seasons. The school newsletter will announce tryouts. If you have any questions about athletics, don't hesitate to contact Coach Jones via email at rjones@harmonytx.org.

3D printing contests / 6th - 8th/ Angela Witt: A variety of processes, equipment, and materials are used in the production of a three-dimensional object via additive manufacturing. 3D printing is also known as additive manufacturing, therefore the numerous available 3D printing process tend to be additive in nature with a few key differences in the technologies and the materials used in this process.

Science Olympiad/ 6th-12th/ Mr. Kat & Mr. Unver: Science Olympiad is an American team competition in which students compete in 23 events pertaining to various scientific disciplines, including earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.

Spanish Literacy and Culture / 6th-12th/ Ms. Claudia Ordonez : Spanish Club strives to teach the Spanish language and culture.

CRLP Girls/ 7th grade /Ms. Flores : The mission of this program is to provide academic and social opportunities to prepare students in quest of higher education. With this program they can develop team work skills which is important to real world experiences that they will face outside of high-school.

Cinema Club/ 6th - 12th/ Carmen Solorio : In this club we will watch, critique, and discuss films for their quality and content.

Yearbook Club/ 8th - 12th / Ms. Joanna Garza-Ford : Yearbook consists of a collaborative group of students who will document our school culture with a camera; taking pictures of events around the school as well as the day-to-day routine.

CCMA /9th - 12th / Ms. Sayedi : Earning the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) help you stand out in the world of medical assistants. The Medical Assistant certification program ensures you’re prepared for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification exam and allows you to join the workforce with an advantage.

HPS Drone Competition/ 6th - 12th/ Mr. Akkilic HPS-wide Competition - Presented in partnership with FTW Robotics and Rice University, HPS Drone Race is the perfect event offering elementary, middle school and high school students an opportunity to get hands-on experience in STEM education in the form of an affordable, fast-paced game. Students will learn to safely operate a drone, work as a team, and research workforce applications of aerial robotic technology; all while having a blast!

Esports/ 6th - 12th/ Mr. Van : Esports are available for all students who have the desire to compete in Fall/winter/spring season.

Mathcounts/ 6th-8th/ Mr. Rodriguez : The competition is divided into four stages: school, chapter, state, and national. The problems increase in difficulty between levels—perfect scores are relatively common at the school-level, while winners of the written round at the national-level do not often achieve a perfect score. Each school is allowed to register ten students, including a group of four designated as the school team.

Creative Writing Club/ 6th-12th/ Brittany Bayne : Creative writing is any writing that goes outside the bounds of normal professional, journalistic, academic, or technical forms of literature, typically identified by an emphasis on narrative craft, character development, and the use of literary tropes or with various traditions of poetry and poetics.

CRLP Girls/ Junior -Senior/ Merve K. Gokgol: The mission of this program is to provide academic and social opportunities to prepare students in quest of higher education. With this program they can develop team work skills which is important to real world experiences.

CRLP Girls/ Freshmen /Ms. Solorio : The mission of this program is to provide academic and social opportunities to prepare students in quest of higher education. With this program they can develop team work skills which is important to real world experiences that they will face outside of high-school.

Science Fair Competitions/ 6th-12th/ Ms. Gokgol : Most countries have regional science fairs in which interested students can freely participate. Winners of these regional fairs send students to national fairs such as ISEF[5] and CWSF. National science fairs typically send winners to international fairs such as ISEF (which is a national and an international science fair) and EUCYS.

VEX Robotics/ 9th-12th/ Travis Powell : VEX Robotics is a robotics program for elementary through university students, and a subset of Innovation First International. The VEX Robotics competitions and programs are managed by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (REC).[1] In April 2018, VEX Robotics Competition was named the largest robotics competition in the world by Guinness World Records
