Sales Assistant job application form.
Duties & responsibilities:

They're varied and day-to-day will include: serving customers, in person, on the phone & web, using computerised till & payment systems, unpacking & displaying stock, using ladders, pricing goods, paperwork & filing, carrying and lifting of stock, inc. furniture & accepting deliveries and cleaning, including staff areas, kitchen and bathroom.

There are elements of the role that we all do from time-to-time, and especially as a new recruit, that fall into the category of a runner, ie, being moved around from role-to-role as circumstances demand and will include door work, greeting customers, tea-making, refuse handling, etc. You will be expected to learn and maintain a good knowledge of the goods in the shop. Dress code is relaxed, aprons are available for any messier tasks.

Working at After Noah is a very interesting, busy, active, quite physical job and is unlike most usual retail positions.  You won't get bored, there's rarely ever any standing around and there's lots of chatting to interesting, often regular customers who love the shop and are fond of the team that works in it. As a small family team, everyone mucks in, is sociable, friendly, collaborative, outgoing and prepared to put their hand to whatever tasks need doing.

If, like most people, you have to work, we think you should do so in a fun and happy environment and that's what we do our best to provide.
