We will consider your application. Acceptance to the Foundational instructor program is solely based on our assessment of your ability to complete the program and teach the Foundational Level of Ba Gua Zhang.

Acceptance to the Advanced Instructor program is based on your teaching experience, knowledge and demonstration of a high level of proficiency in the Foundational material.

Participation in instructor training is not a guarantee of being promoted to instructor or advanced instructor at the end of the week. Evaluation will be ongoing throughout the intensive on your ability to be an instructor.

Eligibility: In the box below, please describe your martial arts experience, your Ba Gua Zhang Training with IAI and any previous teaching experience.

Foundational Instructor Candidates: Foundational Ba Gua Zhang Instructor Training is open only to those who have already trained Ba Gua Zhang diligently with an IAI Instructor in person, or in the Authentic Ba Gua Zhang Online Learning Program for at least two years.

Senior Instructor Candidates: Must be a Foundational Ba Gua Zhang Instructor with IAI and have been teaching Ba Gua Zhang for at least three years.
