Gender Equality - How Do You Define It?
"We're committed to gender equality!"

You may have seen statements like this before but are all the people saying this mean the same thing?  As an Independent Statistician who helps organisations to use data effectively to reach gender equality, I know it is not possible to determine if you have succeeded unless you define what success looks like.

The reason why I am running this short survey is to find out if people agree or disagree on the definition of Gender Equality.  In a recent article (link given at the end of the questionnaire), I explored 6 possible definitions of gender equality and by clicking next, you will be able to select the one that is closest to your definition.

This is followed by 3 questions about your background which you do not have to answer.  At no point do I ask for personal details or details that could allow me to identify who you are.  The purpose of these questions is to see if people's definitions of gender equality differ by their background.

Once I have enough responses, I plan to add a summary of the results to my gender equality article.  I will let people know via my social media accounts and my newsletter when this has happened.  More details about these will be given at the end of the survey.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
