To invite all youth across ECMN into beloved community with one another, and to empower them for present and future leadership through gifts discernment and spiritual formation.
Mission
We want ECMN youth to be given as much leadership as possible at each of ECMN's youth events. This involves the pre-planning of these events, creating new ones, as well as the onsite peer ministry.
Structure
Each faith community has the opportunity to nominate at least one young person (Grades 9-12) to the Youth Commission. This commission will act as a planning and decision-making body for all ECMN Youth Events in coordination with each event's own adult planning team. The Youth Commission will launch in the fall and continue its work via monthly video calls. At least 4-6 adults who serve in lay youth ministry across ECMN will shepherd the commission in partnership with the Missioner for Children, Youth, and Camp.

- Attend the virtual kick-off (Sunday, November 8 @ 8pm)
- Attend one of the one-day TEC events (Nov 21, Feb TBD, May TBD)
- Participate in at least half of our monthly video meetings (Nov - May)
- Advocate for your peers
Covenant
- Know your peers by name
- Give permission to create and recreate
- Respect the seasons
- Participate in the Church beyond church
- Pray and show up for one another
