We are naming the next five of our Little Free Diverse Libraries after activists of color. You get to decide which ones! Please select the top five activists you would like to see have a library named after them. One library will be named after our own beloved activist, Bryant Rollins.

Larry Itilong - farm workers' advocate & grape strike organizer that led to founding of United Farm Workers

Yuri Kochiyama - internment camp survivor and civil rights advocate who worked with Malcolm X

John Lewis - youngest speaker & organizer of March on Washington and US Congressman for GA

Wilma Mankiller - first woman chief of the Cherokee Nation and creator of largest Native-run healthcare system

Jo Ann Robinson - organizer of the Montgomery Bus Boycott & president of Montgomery Women's Political Council

Standing Bear - civil rights leader & Ponca chief who fought for Native Americans to have equal protection under the Constitution

Bryan Stevenson - criminal justice advocate and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative

George Takei - actor, internment camp survivor, LGBTQ+ advocate, and activist in local politics

Annie Dodge Wauneka - creator of Navajo language medical dictionary and promoter of vaccinations among indigenous people

Ida B. Wells - one of NAACP founders & staunch anti-lynching advocate
