The federal government has passed the CARES Act which provides some funding, in the form of a grant, for Title IV eligible students who are undergoing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. These emergency grants are designed to cover expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19 (including eligible expenses under a student's cost of attendance, such as food, housing, course/program materials, technology, health care and childcare.)

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed and processed  If you just recently submitted your FAFSA there may be extra steps that will need to be completed. FAFSA needed to be completed by Tuesday May 19th 2020 to be eligible.
