Join Active Transportation Alliance on Wednesday, December 9th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. for a virtual forum with Representative Chuy Garcia, Garfield Park Community Council (GPCC) and North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council (NLCCC).

At our forum, community partners GPCC and NLCCC will be discussing transit justice in their neighborhoods. We will also be providing an update and overview on the federal budget picture for transit. Congressman Chuy Garcia will also participate along with the presidents of our local bus and rail operator unions, Ken Franklin of ATU 308 and Keith Hill of ATU 241. Finally there will also be a speaker representing CTA, Sam Smith, the Vice President of Legislative Affairs.
