Husky Connect: Fall 2024 Mentee Application
Thank for you for your interest in the Husky Connect Peer to Peer Mentoring Program! 

Husky Connect supports incoming first-year undergraduate students as they transition from high school to college through mentorship and guidance. Students will be paired with a current MTU student to help answer any and all questions regarding Tech and college life. Students will also be enrolled in a 1 credit success course, Husky Connect Success 101 that will help increase their academic, personal, and professional success. A $500 Academic Incentive* will be applied towards the Spring 2025 Financial Aid Package upon successful completion of the program.

Applications review will begin in May. Participants will be selected on a rolling basis using the following criteria. 
  • Pell Eligibility (from FAFSA) and/or
  • First generation college student (neither parent/guardian graduated from a 4yr college or university)
