Full tuition for one week at Girls Rock New Orleans Summer Rock Camp is $300. Girls Rock New Orleans operates with very limited resources and we rely heavily on donations and support from the community to sustain our programs, so we ask those who can afford to pay full tuition do so. However, we realize that not everyone can afford to pay full tuition or any tuition, so we have determined a sliding scale that includes a range of tuition amounts.

Please consider your family income, resources, and dependents in the household when determining your requested reduced tuition amount. Due to our limited funds, we cannot afford to grant every request for reduced tuition. So please, pay what you can. However, if you do need financial assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask for it – that’s why we offer it.

The reduced tuition application process is confidential. *Please note: Girls Rock New Orleans does not require supporting documentation as part of the initial application, but reserves the right to request documentation (such as a recent pay stub) or additional information during the review process.*

Reduced Tuition Guidelines:

Household income under $25,000
Most of our full financial aid goes to campers from households with a total annual income of less than $25,000. Please request full financial aid if needed, or if you are able to pay tuition, let us know how much you can afford to pay.

Household income $25,000 - $80,000
Most partially reduced tuition goes to campers from households with a total annual income between $25,000 and $80,000. Please request full financial aid if needed, or if you are able to pay tuition, let us know how much you can afford to pay.

Household income above $80,000
If your household has a total income above $80,000, we are able to consider reduced tuition only in extenuating circumstances, such as medical hardship, recent job loss, or a large number of dependents (i.e. financial responsibility for extended family members). We cannot grant reduced tuition due to the camper being enrolled in multiple summer programs, or other situations involving activities.
