Utah Trans Pride Festival 2020 Entertainer Application (Open through July 25, 2020)
Thank you for applying to be an entertainer at the Utah Trans Pride Festival presented by Genderbands. We anticipate applications from many talented performers with a wide variety of acts that celebrate gender diversity.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are hosting our 2020 festival online. If you are selected as a festival entertainer, you may either perform live on the festival stream or pre-record a video of your performance that will be shown during the festival stream. You must provide all of the equipment you need for your performance and for the recording of your performance. You may also choose to submit a previously recorded video that showcases your performance at its best.

Please fill out this form in full if you are applying to perform for the Utah Trans Pride Festival on Saturday, August 15, 2020, 2:30-8:30 PM.

Genderbands is a nonprofit organization that uses revenue generated from its activities to fund its mission of paying transition-related costs for transgender youth and adults. Would you be able and willing to donate your time and skill to the festival in order to support Genderbands’ mission? You will have the opportunity to have your website URL and/or Venmo/Paypal/other payment service username displayed on-screen while you perform. *

Due to the virtual and open nature of the festival and pre-pride drag show, performances must be appropriate for all ages. Do you agree to this? *

As Pride is finalized, we will need the support of all confirmed groups to get documents and other items to us in a timely manner. We will start contacting artists on MONDAY, JULY 27, 2020 -- please be mindful to check your inbox regularly during this process.

Liability
Entertainers shall indemnify and hold harmless the Utah Trans Pride Festival and Genderabnds against any and all liabilities that may arise as a result of your participation in and conduct at the Utah Trans Pride Festival and/or pre-party. Each Entertainer assumes all liability for their own goods and supplies.

Genderbands prohibits discrimination against any person on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, age, national or cultural origin or ancestry, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or health status.
