New Year 2-Day Sesshin: January 8-10
For this sesshin, people may sign up for one of two options: either participating from their own homes online, or staying at Windhorse in the retreat lodge in a modified, socially distanced format.

On-site:

1. If there is interest, we will offer lodge accommodations to three people. This means each person would have a private room for zazen, for sleeping, and for eating meals, which will be offered in a "to-go" style. People also have private bathrooms and showers.

2. Participants need to bring a laptop to access Wifi for teishos and formal rounds of sitting.

3. In-person sesshin participation is only for those who are able to attend full-time, which includes being present for set-up and a special guidelines meeting.

4. Depending on weather conditions and other safety considerations, we may be able to offer to those staying on-site  some form of in-person, socially-distanced dokusan. Otherwise, people will be able to access dokusan from their own room in the retreat lodge..

5.Please register as soon as possible. We would encourage individuals to sign up for online sesshin in case they are not accepted for in-person retreat. (If you need to know earlier because of travel, please let Lani know.)

6.The cost for on-site sesshin will be $100 for a monthly dues-paying member, and $120 for non-members. *Please note: These prices do not include dana for the teachers at Windhorse, who are not paid a salary for their dharma work.

7. In the event of too many applicants for in-person sesshin, we will give first preference to Windhorse members.

Online:

1. Please register by Wednesday, January 6. By the end of Thursday, January 7, Windhorse will provide you with instructions on how to use Zoom with an access code, as well as a copy of the chants, as well as the day, estimated time, and teacher with whom you will have dokusan.

2. If you do not know how to use Zoom and need technical support, please contact Lani by January 7.

3. Finally, while we offer this program free of charge, please consider making a donation to Windhorse and/or to the teachers as dana. You can do so via our website/links on weekly updates on the day(s) of the event. Especially now, when we are unable to offer our usual group practice events that have always kept the center going, every donation makes a difference!
