Homelessness is better dealt with by non-governmental agencies like City Team (that spends $12K per homeless person and the person is taken off the street) vs. the $67K spent by the City and the person remains on the street to spend the same money the next year.

Homelessness is just used by the City to bring in more Federal Money. That's why it's grown so much.

The government can solve homelessness if we just had enough money.

If the government does get involved it should be to take homeless folks who have committed crimes and use that to put them in treatment.

Homelessness is caused by high rents, and not by drug abuse, broken homes, or PTSD.

We just need more money so we should raise taxes.

The only money the government collects should be fees for services. E.g. if you drive a car you pay for the road, if you own a house you pay fees for police protection, fire protection, sewage etc.

Yes, times change so the same words in the Constitution should mean something new to keep up with the times.

If the mob does not like how I vote my conscience, then they need to elect someone else. We should forcibly ensure our government offices reflect our demographics even if that means hiring those who are not at the top of their fields.

Forcing DEI ends up violating Inalienable rights by suppressing others who have worked hard, we have a job to do and we need to hire the best of the best. If there is a demographic that can't compete - we need to work to ensure their rights to learn and thrive are not being suppressed, but not to promote substandard workers. Worse if we hire based on DEI, then those whom we serve, will fail to be served by the "best in their field" and just as bad, those DEI personels' reputations will be tarnished oppressing others who have actually worked hard, we have a job to do and we need to hire the best of the best.

The founding fathers would have been happy to suspend the First Amendment if King George had declared a pandemic.

Rights come from the creator and there is no exception to the First Amendment, especially since that is precisely how a tyrannical government would suppress rights
