AAGC invites you to submit a session proposal for our 2024 Annual Conference October 15-17 at the Birmingham Marriott.
: Unlike in past years, our conference this year is Tues-Thurs. Also, there will not be any virtual options for this year.
We are looking for high-quality sessions that will appeal to gifted education professionals. Breakout Sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday are 45 minutes. If your proposal is accepted, please upload your handouts to our conference app, Whova, by Oct 14.
The deadline for submitting your proposal is June 15, 2024. The Lead Presenter should submit the proposal and will be the point of contact. NOTE: All presentation rooms have HDMI connectors for flat screens or connections to digital projectors. You must provide your own laptop/tablet and necessary adapters. HDMI cables will be provided, but we will not have any adapters for connecting to the HDMI or projectors. We also recommend you bring your presentation on a jump drive or have it available from the cloud. It is always a good idea to have a backup plan in the event there is a technology malfunction.
Notification of Acceptance: Lead presenters will be notified via e-mail of
the status of their proposal by August 15, 2024.
All presenters must pre-register for the conference. Your
registration fee must be paid before your session will be included in the
